I'm Ben Campbell, I grew up with a single mom raising four kids during the day, and stocking shelves at Safeway at night. No excuses, no shortcuts, no time to complain. She taught me the lessons you don't learn in a trade school.

I've been in the trade for over 17 years, and have held almost every position that can be done in this industry: Laborer, Apprentice, Foreman, Superintendent, Estimator, and Project Manager.

Before starting Monarch, I led electrical installations on some of Routt County's largest builds:

• Hayden PK-12, Co-Superintendent

• Sleeping Giant School - Superintendent

• Steamboat City Hall and Fire Station - Superintendent, Field Project Manager/Estimator

• Steamboat Ski Resort's "Full Steam Ahead" Upgrades - Superintendent, Field Project Manager/Estimator

  • (Gondola's, Lifts, Ski Lighting, Infrastructure, The Range and Concert Area)

These weren't small projects. They required tight coordination, clean execution, anticipation, and the ability to change direction in a moment's notice.
